About RS Becker Photography

I’m Robert S. Becker, and RS Becker Photography is my personal home for the kind of work I’m most drawn to—portraits with genuine presence, and photographs of nature and place that remind me to slow down and look more carefully.

Photography started for me through my father, who loved documenting life as it happened. Over time, that early influence turned into a serious craft. I’m a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) and hold the Master of Photography (M.Photog.) degree through Professional Photographers of America, with years of ongoing education and state and national recognition for my images.

On this site you’ll see personal projects—landscape and nature work, travel imagery, and fine-art pieces—as well as portrait sessions for individuals and families who want images that feel authentic rather than overly manufactured. My approach is calm and collaborative: we’ll talk through what you want the photograph to communicate, then build the session around that—expression, wardrobe, background, and lighting.

I’m based in the Lehigh Valley and have called eastern Pennsylvania home for more than two decades. When I’m not photographing, my background in science and business keeps me grounded in process, preparation, and clear communication—traits that clients tend to appreciate as much as the final images.
